How’s your I AM-ing?
Posted on March 10th, 2008 by Steven Sashen
The one year anniversary of the Instant Advanced Meditation Course is coming up and I’d love to hear from those of you who’ve been exploring the I AM practices, the “thought experiments, the Chit Chat calls, the Teleclasses and the personal attention you can get during them.
What do you like about the I AM Course, the practices, etc.?
Thanks,
Steven

I am grateful for the I AM course as it has opened up new and improved filters from which to view the world and how we get ourselves caught up in our thinking.
Thanks for everything Steven
What I like most about I Am is the ongoing opportunity to engage with it in a group setting as well as alone, and also that you like to give things away like the Next Step class! I can’t wait!
Steven, I just feel clearer when I practice IAM.
And thank GOD you are offering a Next Step class.
I have had a very variable life for so long - it’s cool to be able to not know where I’m going to live, what (or whether) I’m going to drive, what I’m going to do for work and not be going so nuts over it, but one of my complaints all my life has been that I’m sick of hearing I am intelligent and beautiful and can do anything I want. My brain gets stuck and my mind boggles at the choices.
I wanna make some choices already! Enough change!
I *think* I want to go back to school. I *love* school.
I *think* I want to teach. I have done some, but I’ve never really spent a lot of time at it.
I *think* I want a car. No, that one I am sure of. I want another green standard Subaru Forester.
I *think* I want to live with a group of people, not just one roommate. That one depends.
And I don’t have all that pressure to force *any* of it.
That’s the good part.
The other part is - what’s next?
Love,
Stacy
Thanks for the course. It’s been great.
I mostly appreciate the simplicity of the exercises and the way they so directly engage the energetic field of “AMness” - then you know It’s Real!
The IAM course gives me tools to clear my mind, whether I want to go deep with them or just use them for a minute or two. I feel more centered, more peaceful, and less attached after practicing with these tools.
Thanks, Steven.
Th IAMs have provided a number of my meditation students with an effortless “way in” to a taste of non-dual awareness.
Many of them have reported that they “couldn’t have imagined being ever being able to experience this sort of thing”.
Thanks for the opportunity to share your discoveries Steven, and for “slaughtering” a few Sacred Cows during the Chit Chat calls
Tim
Atter many years of meditation practices and techniques, I was drawn to the simplicity of the IAM tools. Also , the honesty, truthfulness and clarity expressed in the “Chit Chats” has helped me “lighten the load”. IAM is a great place to hang out.
Thanks Steven.

I AM very Appreciative for the I AM courses. I find the exercises help to immediately bring Presence to the forefront. The mind chatter ceases, and I find myself in spacious still calm. The more this is practiced, the longer the state remains. The more this is practiced, the quicker I catch Presence missing and Chatter ensuing. Once recognized, I can call Presense forth again and again and again. Thank You.
I AM grateful for Steven’s I AM courses which are presented with a sense of humor and a style which shakes up old notions of what it means to be “awake”.
I AM that I AM, here and now.
What amazes me is that these simple and quick little practices … done on a “somewhat” consistent basis … really begins to loosen up my “sense of rigid confidence about hard core, black and white facts” . . . by admitting rainbows of colors into my life.
Colors softens up my experience of life … and my relation with who I am becoming. That you Steven for assisting me to enter into an entirely new and amazing world reality.
Thank you, Steven for your clarity and insight. The processes are simple, straightforward and EFFECTIVE.
I find them particularly effective on your live calls which is not surprising given my experience of you.
You are the most accessible and unpretentious, non-judgemental ‘teacher’ I have ever had.
(Just where did you leave your ego, young man?)
Thanks for making it SO MUCH FUN!
Nina
I find the material advanced, scary, and yet compelling.
Hi Steven,
I love your practises because they are fun, easy and light. I don’t have to take out an hour of my day to sit somewhere and do them - I can practise anywhere anytime whenever it comes to my mind. And I can definitely see that they snap me out of any kind of unfavourable mood very easily.
But at the same time, I still really like to listen to the CDs and hear you guiding me through the practise!
Always feeling happy afterwards
Thank you sooo much!
Heide
What I love about the I AM practises is the simplicity, no nonsense approach that takes me directly to the experience of . . . well. . . to put it into words would greatly diminish it, it has to be experienced.
The monthly Chit Chats are like nuggets of gold. Steven always seems to come up with different approaches to various related subjects. Many times I have had the thought “Why didn’t I see it that way” or “it’s so obvious when you put that way”, when listening to them.
Glad I found you Steven, you have helped me to discover the peace I was searching for was right here all along!
I’m finding that Steven’s materials–the meditations in conjunction with the talk about them (which are also I Am meditations IMHO) are helping me to perceive the extraordinary in the ordinary and the ordinary in the extraordinary, and often to lose track of which is which.

Steven, I love this program. I have tried to meditate regularly for some time and with quite variable success. This method makes it easy and completely available. It has become the oasis of my day.
There are endless things I love about this program.
Simplicity - easy to do for just about anyone with amazing results. No prior experience needed!
Peacefulness - A great sense of peacefulness during and after the meditations.
Clarity - If you need some clarity around an issue, you can take a walk in nature or do one of these meditations!
Reduce stress - ten minutes and you will feel so much more relaxed!
Wisdom - you not only calm your mind and body, there is often some simple “idea/lesson” woven into the meditation and so you leave with more than one gift for the day, you have many!!
Affordable! - Some meditation courses are so expensive they are beyond the reach of many people. I personally feel this might even be better than many of those other ones!
Present Moment - Doing only a few of these greatly added to my other work and learning to be alive in the present moment.
Awakening. I have had a few very small short moments of awakening in my life that came and went all too quickly. I finally experienced one which has so far lasted two weeks. I have never been so unattached to things in my life! It is the greatest sense of peace and understanding beyond words. And one of the tools I used, were these meditations.
Chit Chat’s…… What can i say!! I always come away so expanded in my visions of life and sometimes feeling more inspired having affirmed some of my own wisdom!
Steven I am SO GRATEFUL you are in my life and are transforming the world, one person at a time!
Endless love and appreciation, Morgine
The changes in me since I have used the I AM course have been deep and permanent. The simplicity of the techniques is astounding, more-so, the effectiveness. I find that I am in Peace most of the time now, and when not, I reach for a CD and instantly go back into Peace.
They remind me…
The vastness of who I AM (!) always shows up when I think: What would be a better way to look at my Life? or a particular situation, and then employ one of the techniques. I hardly worry, am quite contented with who I AM and always feel a depth of Love that I had been missing. I feel confident and compassionate for myself and others. I am also surprised at how easily a technique will show itself when needed. Maybe my memory is improving!!
I want to start participating in the teleclasses. I think they would really round out my experience with I AM.
Thank you Steven for coming into my life.
I love you for offering this beautiful, loving, simple way of teaching me that I AM.
Susan
I am Happy.
